The Tryon Amateur Radio Club is an ARRL affiliated club and it was established in 1973. The Club Repeater, K2JJI, is located in Johnstown, NY 12095.
The club operates one repeater at 146.70 Mhz (-) 100 Hz tone and it is open to the public. On this repeater the club host a RACES drill every Tuesday at 7:00pm EST.
In addition to the drill, the club also hosts meetings on the third Wednesday of each month. These meetings begin at 7:00pm and are held at the Fulton Co. Sheriff’s Dept. EOC – Rt29 & Harrison St, Johnstown NY.
These meetings are open to the public. Anyone interested in Amateur Radio who resides in Fulton County, NY or the surrounding areas is invited to attend.
The club has close to 30 active members from the Fulton and Montgomery counties.
The Tryon ARC is governed by these by laws.
The TRYON ARC is an ARRL affiliated club. We are a member of the ARRL Northern New York Section, which is a member of the ARRL Atlantic Division. Our Division is very active in webinar training, click here to check out the division.
