Who we are –
Established in 1973, the Tryon Amateur Radio Club is located in Fulton County New York and meets at the Emergency Operations Center located at 231 N. Perry St, Johnstown NY. As an ARRL affiliated club, we are a member of the Northern NY Section. We enjoy public service, contesting, balloon launches, new technology, new friends, testing and good food. Our #1 goal is to provide emergency communications to Fulton County NY. We are very active with public service that we use to train members to be accomplished amateur radio operators.
