
The TRYON Amateur Radio Club is honored to host an special event station to commemorate the 200 years anniversary of the birth of Elizabeth Cady Stanton who was born on November 12th, 1815 in Johnstown NY.
Elizabeth was an American suffragist, social activist and a leading figure of the early women’s rights movement.
To commemorate her birth the club will host a 2 days special event station from Nov 14th 1300Z to Nov 15th 2300Z. Members of the club will be using the K2JJI call sign on voice, digital and morse code. Members will contact hams all over the world, provide a information about her life and the importance of her achievements. Free certificates will be issued to all logged contacts.
