HAM-Jam Hamfest – August 22, 2009

Once again, the Central New York Amateur Radio Association, Inc. is hosting Ham-Jam hamfest and flea market with Radios / Electronics / Computer Equipment. Location is Deerfield, NY

Admission: $5.00 per person. Hourly door prizes and raffle at 3:00 P.M.
Vendors and tailgaters 6:30 AM, gates open at 8:00 AM.

Adirondack Spintacular on August 15th

The Tryon Amateur Radio Club will provide our services to the charity event by using our radios to control traffic, etc. Meet up place will be the parking lot of the Mayfield firefighter’s station at 9:30 a.m. Bring water, sun protection and 2M portable equipment. Remember to recharge the batteries if necessary.

Rail Fest at the Rail Station Park on August 8th

The Tryon Amateur Radio Club will be present at the Rail Fest on August 8th, 2009 (rain date August 9th). We will begin event station set-up at approximately 8:30am.

Our event station will be located in the parking lot between the Cayadetta Creek and Kingsboro Towers on Frontage Road.

We will have HF, VHF and UHF radios to demonstrate our hobby to the community. Please come visit us and participate. Flyers with literature will be distributed among the visitors.

Admission to the Rail Fest is free, but donations of non-perishable food items will be collected all day and will benefit the FulMont Community Action Agency.

Ham Fest | “RADIOCOM” July 18, 2009

The Utica Amateur Radio Club, Inc. is sponsoring the “RADIOCOM 2009” ham fest on July 18 at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds. This event is YL/XYL friendly thanks to the craft fair taking place in the same location.

Vendor Setup 6:00 AM. Hamfest Hours 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. General Admission $5.00. Flea Market and Tailgate $2.00 + general admission. There will be a charge for Indoor Space of $2.00 additional per space. Door prizes will also be available.
